The post-flood relief mission, named Humanitarian Logistics Tour, is a collaborative effort involving various organisations, including Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLAT), The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Malaysia, KK Super Mart, IKK, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), the Malaysian Headmasters Association Kedah, the Kedah Malay Teachers Association, the Kedah Malay Teachers Cooperative, and the Kubang Pasu District Fire and Police Headquarters. Under the theme “No Barriers, WiLAT Malaysia and WMIK Ready for Action,” this initiative aims to ease the burden of flood victims by providing logistical support and essential supplies.

According to Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Jessica Ong, Chairperson of WiLAT Malaysia and the program’s organiser, the mission emphasises the importance of fostering a spirit of assistance that transcends race, religion, and ethnicity. The unity displayed during community activities, including a special initiative known as WiLAT Malaysia Inspire Kitchen (WMIK), played a significant role by preparing meals for volunteers involved in cleaning the school premises and surrounding areas.

The mission focused on two schools: SK Seri Banai, covering the Hosba and Kodiang zones, and SK Kepala Batas, which includes the Tunjang and Air Hitam zones. The spirit of solidarity and dedication in assisting communities, especially in the aftermath of flood disasters, highlights the togetherness of the people.
