National Taipei University of Business (NTUB) Recognized for Nurturing Business and Management Talent

The University Employability Ranking 2018, published by Taiwan 1111 Job Bank, recognizes graduates of National Taipei University of Business with a degree in business or management for their excellent employability by ranking the school first in the finance and economics as well as business management categories. The school has stayed on top of the ranking for the finance category four years in a row, testifying to the school’s success in nurturing talent in line with the industry requirements. NTUB has a registration rate of 96.92% out of all admitted applicants, topping all public universities of Science and Technology and underscoring the recognition it receives from parents and students alike. NTUB therefore earns the reputation as the “cradle of the best finance- and management-related recruits”.

NTUB Teams Garnering Awards for Innovative Entrepreneurship

The last few years have seen the rise of innovative entrepreneurship. NTUB creates a school culture that encourages learning by developing a start-up. NTUB teams have garnered major awards in domestic and international entrepreneurship competitions, an example of which includes the grand prize, second prize and third prize at the third Cross-Strait Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest. The NTUB team also received RMB80,000 as the start-up capital. Furthermore, another NTUB team won the Golden Award and a NT$200,000 scholarship at the 2017 FinTech Creative Award in Asian Chinese Region with the mobile application “Quants.ai”. The same app received the Award of Excellence from the Ministry of Science and Technology under the Innovation and Startup Program, in the category of IT application and service, as well as NT$2,000,000 as the start-up capital. NTUB teams have an excellent track record. The EZGo App incorporating augmented reality won the silver medal for the InnoService Award 2017.

NTUB has been an active participant of Taiwan postsecondary education fairs in Malaysia. 2018 is not an exception. NTUB has set up a special overseas Chinese program in addition to the offshore programs. NTUB aspires to introduce its outstanding vocational training traditions to other countries and engages in academic exchange.

Eyeing a Future with ASEAN Countries — NTUB Waves to Prospective Students from Malaysia

NTUB has established the ASEAN Management Research Center as well as credit programs in the study of Southeast Asian business. The programs will combine the resources from the New Southbound Policy and the school’s existing advantages in business education, with future interdisciplinary and inter-school industry-academia collaboration in the works, to train employable students specializing in ASEAN business administration.

NTUB has established sister-school partnerships in as many as 15 countries as of this date. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the international exchange programs and overseas internships to gain international exposure. NTUB welcomes Malaysian students with open arms and uses the opportunity to turn each student into a highly sought talent in the international market.
