All set to delight guests looking to break fast or just to gather and celebrate, the hotel’s Executive Sous Chef, Chef Hussain Bavutty, together with his talented team have skilfully put together a sumptuous buffet spread which feature over 150 mouth-watering dishes ranging from local and traditional Malaysian delicacies to Arabic, Japanese and Western cuisine, promising an exceptional dining experience for all.
With traditional elements retained in the preparation of dishes, guests can find many must-try Malay dishes from the main buffet counter, including one of Charcoal restaurant’s signature Sup Gear Box (Beef Bone Broth), Stir Fried Squid with Black Bean Sauce, Nasi Bukhara Ayam (Chicken Bukhara Rice) and Daging Rendang Tok (Dry Beef Rendang) among other crowd pleasers. Those looking for lighter and healthier options can toss up their own Ulam-ulam (Mixed Viands), or pick from a variety of ready-made salads on offer.
Guests can also make their evening extra sweet with a variety of delicious desserts all beautifully plated at the dessert counter. Choose from Bubur Durian dengan Pulut (Durian Puree with Glutinous Rice), Sago Gula Melaka (Sago Pudding with Palm Sugar), Hazelnut Chocolate Cake, Strawberry Cheese Cake, Dark Cherry Bread Pudding, a selection of Malay Kuih and many other items that are readily available to tempt.

As it is always the experience that counts, we are taking a step beyond the usual with a refreshing outdoor ambience and bazaar concept. To add to the merriment of the occasion, guests can get up close and personal with the chefs at the various stalls and watch first-hand as they prepare and serve delightful hawker fare like Roasted Whole Lamb, Apam Balik (Crispy Pancake with Butter and Peanuts Filling), Putu Piring (Steamed Rice Flour Cakes with Palm Sugar and Coconut), Tandoori Chicken and Naan bread, Lemang Bakar (Roasted Glutinous Rice in Bamboo), Otak-otak (Grilled Fish Cake), Yong Tau Foo (Assorted Stuffed Tofu), Char Kway Teow (Fried Rice Noodles) and many more.
The “Juadah di bawah Sinaran Bintang” buffet is available from 6 June – 5 July 2016, 6.30pm to 10.30pm and is priced at RM138 nett per adult and RM69 nett for children aged 6 – 12 years for poolside seating, whereas buffet entries to Charcoal restaurant are priced at RM150 nett per adult and RM75 nett per child.
