KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – 16 January, 2017 – Makan Kitchen welcomes in the year of the Rooster by presenting diners with auspicious dishes that are bound to bring prosperity to any family this Chinese New Year. The signature restaurant of DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur will be introducing a series of specialty dishes in addition to a festive spread of more than 80-dishes from January 27, 2017 through February 11, 2017.
To ensure that we start the New Year on an auspicious foot, the theme “Treasures of Eight” is specially thought off for this feast. Guests can indulge in dishes such as Eight Treasure Imperial Chicken, Double-boiled Eight Treasure and Abalone Soup, Eight Auspicious dishes, and more available on a rotation basis, prepared by Makan Kitchen’s dedicated Chinese kitchen team. ‘Yee Sang’ is a must-have every Chinese New Year, along with Oolong tea that will calm the stomach after such a prosperous meal, which is sure to satisfy our guests with great abundance. The Eight Auspicious dishes are only available for dinners.
