Ninety nine percent of us would have probably stayed in a hotel some time in our lives. Some of us may have taken back good memories from these stays while some may have horror stories to share. Which ever group you fall in, there is something new that has dawned the shores of Malaysia that assures an experience unlike any other.
First in South East Asia, Hyatt House has marked its stamp in Mont’ Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, as an extended stay residence catered for the holiday-goer that require and appreciate the finer personal touches in a stay away from home.
“Our signature here at Hyatt House is our customer service. We take pride in assuring that everyone who stays at Hyatt House will take home a personalised experience like none other. Our staff are hand-picked, where we ensure that they understand the need to keep customers satisfied at all times”, said Bennett Peter, General Manager of Hyatt House Mont’ Kiara Kuala Lumpur.
Hyatt House isn’t a regular hotel, as all units are apartment-styled. There are the 1-bedroom units for the single traveller or the couple looking for a romantic get-away, the 2-bedroom units for a small family get-away or the 3-bedroom units to cater for larger families, where comfort is assured.
Walking through the apartment door, into the unit simply feels like you are walking into your own ‘mini’ home. From comfortable beds, to a fully-utenciled kitchen with cooking facilities, to cleaning facilities, a hall that makes you want to just laze the whole day and a working table, incase you have energy to get some work done.
“All units are meant to invite people in and keep them so comfortable, that they rather not leave”, said Peter with a smile.
“As mentioned, we take pride in our hospitality, so fruit-baskets aren’t what you are welcomed to when you enter these units. Instead, you will be greeted with things that you like. If you were to request for a bag of salted peanuts and diet coke, that is what you will see in your unit, everytime you travel to any Hyatt House in the world. Our system will capture your needs and wants and it will be made available for you during your visit”, he added.
Aside from comfy rooms and fully equipped kitchens and living rooms, Hyatt House has much more to offer its patrons. The 24-hour gymnasium assures you get a good wokout anytime of the day. Whether you are an early riser or a late owl, you could get your fair share of healthiness in routine. The swimming pool on the rooftop has breathtaking views of most of Mont’Kiara and best part of all, present at the pool area is the Ten37 Sky Pool Bar, if you decide that having a drink to a view of the KL skyline is something you enjoy.
There is also a 24-hour business center that offers computers, printers, fax machines, and more. If you have your own laptop with you, you can also enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel as well as at the comfortable work desk that’s in your room.
Hyatt House takes pride in its Omelet Bar. The breakfast spread is incredible. Hot and cold breakfast, you would be spoilt for choice with the hot and cold sumptuous delights that is available.
“We have no exclusive spa here at the hotel. We decided that that wasn’t really necessary. Instead, we insist on the necessities, the focused pleasures one would want and need on holiday. Your rooms are comfortable, food is excellent, recreational facilities, including the 24-hour gymnasium has state-of-the-art equipment, and of course, your breakfast being the most important meal of the day is served fresh and with many choices”, said Peter.
“By the way, we also ensure that you will be satified with the air-conditioning, the hot water and the water pressure in your room. After all, these are the finer stuff that we always long for at a hotel, aside from good service”, he added.
Hyatt House, once opened to public soon will surely be an experience like none other for the holiday-goer, the business-traveller as well as families that just need a weekend get-away. May it be a day, a week, a month or even a year, you can be assured your stay at Hyatt House will be an experience you will never forget and will leave you wanting to go back again and again to be pampered.
